Walker Township donates $5,000 for new health center

Local nonprofit Centre Care accepts a check for $5,000 from Walker Township for its new skilled nursing facility set to open this year on the Benner Pike. The donation will be matched by State-College-based Hamer Foundation and go toward comfortable furnishings and equipment to enhance the quality of life for residents and rehab patients.
