Easter Bunny brings smiles to western Clinton County

KEVIN RAUCH/THE EXPRESS

The Easter Bunny wasn’t about to not bring Easter to town over the weekend. With help of area fire companies, the bunny stood atop Renovo Fire Department’s ladder truck and waved at onlookers throughout western Clinton County. Respectful of the social distancing guidelines the small parade of fire trucks didn’t throw any type of candy, just offered cheerful waves and sirens which still brought many smiles to kids and adults alike, who waved in return. Citizen’s Station #28 Chief Eric Knauff of South Renovo said that the idea came from Goodwill Station #7 to help and get the Easter Bunny through town. Bear Kelley, a member of the Chapman Township Volunteer Fire Department, helped to keep the Bunny strapped in for the ride.
