Under pressure: Nittany Valley Fire Co. tests fire trucks

LAURA JAMESON/THE EXPRESS

Brandon Myers, of Glick Fire in Mill Hall, tests the pressure of one of Nittany Valley Fire Company’s fire trucks along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River at the Woodward Township boat launch on Monday afternoon. Firefighter Shawn Etters said the station does the test every year to ensure that both their fire trucks can handle the water pressure needed to fight fires. The test lasts about 20 minutes and both trucks were tested by the end of the day.
