Free books in Triangle Park
In the Little Library at Triangle Park, look for “Hothouse Orchid” by Stuart Woods and Jonathan Stroud’s “The Amulet of Samarkand”. Kids can look for “Fizz and the Police Dog Try-outs” and Maurice Sendak’s “Outside Over There.” The Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven sponsors the Little Libraries, and reminds us to use Covid-19 precautions as we take a book, leave a book, or both.
Want to have a movie night with friends or family but can’t because you’re social distancing? An included chat room can also allow you to share your reactions with your viewing party.
We live in a region where it is not unusual to share the road with an Amish buggy. PennDOT encourages drivers to allow a margin of safety and remember that horses are not always predictable. If you come up behind a buggy, slow down, do not honk the horn, and stay back. At a stop sign or light, leave 10 to 12 feet between your vehicle and the buggy.
