Old Photo Album: Cross Fork at the heigh of the lumbering era

This is a Stereoscope, or double picture, taken around 1901 showing Cross Fork at the height of the Lumbering Era. Cross Fork had a population of nearly 5,000 people with a high school and several elementary schools in that area. Thank you Western Clinton County Historian Charlie Barnum for sharing this photo with our readers!
