United Way receives $1,000 from Feger Insurance
LOCK HAVEN — On Thursday, May 14, Ben Green, executive director of the Clinton County United Way, gladly accepted a donation in the amount of $1,000 toward the COVID-19 Clinton County Community Recovery Fund established by the CCUW.
The check was presented by Jeff Feger, owner of the Feger Insurance Company in Lock Haven. Feger Insurance is an Erie insurance agency. $500 was given by Jeff Feger with $500 being matched through Erie Insurance’s program, Erie Agents Giving Back.
The Feger Insurance agency also made a contribution of the same amount to the Lock Haven Catholic School.
Executive director Ben Green said, “It’s very heartening to see how our community really has risen to the challenges posed by the Coronavirus. We’re lucky to live in a community where, even though everyone is struggling, people like Jeff are still thinking about how they can help. We’ve received strong community support for our fund, and now with Feger’s contribution, we’ve raised over $10,000 which will be given to local non-profits who are providing direct services to people affected by the Coronavirus.”
