Back in Business

The following businesses, churches and organizations have let The Express know their status as the green phase reopening continues. If you’d like to add your business or agency to the list, send it to lmuthler@lockhaven.com

— Nancy Hoover’s Barbershop, formerly Klip Joint, in Flemington is open for business Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesdays 7:30 a.m. to noon and Saturdays 7:30 to 11 a.m.

— Centre Furnace Mansion has reopened for tours on a limited basison Sundays only, beginning July 12. Tours are offered by reservatons only on Sunday at the following times — 1, 1:45, 2:30 and 3:15 p.m. For reservations, call (814) 234-4779 or email info@centrecountyhistory.org

— Great Island Presbyterian Church at 12 W. Water St. reopened June 21 for 9:30 a.m. services.

— Liberty Baptist Church of Blanchard has resumed worship service in the church sanctuary. The church services will still be live streamed to the website: www.lbcblanchard.com or Facebook at www.Facebook.com/lbcblanchard. Those without computers can call in to our telephone conference system from their telephone by dialing (425) 585-7517. For pastoral prayer or needs please call the church phone at (570) 962-2214.

— Holy Spirit Parish’s public masses have returned. Mass times will return to normal — Saturday at 5 p.m. at St. Agnes; Sunday at 8 a.m. at Immaculate Conception, 9:30 a.m. at St Agnes and noon at St. Joseph.

— The Law Office of Frederick D. Lingle located at 310 E. Water St., Lock Haven, is open for normal business. Face masks and social distancing preferred.

–Ed Johns Barber Shop reopened for business by appointment only. Business hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Face mask required. Haircuts only; no beard or goatee trims and no shaves.

–The Partnership office at 212 N. Jay St., Lock Haven, reopened to the public, resuming normal hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. The front lobby, which has informational brochures on the area, maps and dining and lodging information, is open 24/7.

— The Salvation Army Thrift Store located at 111 E. Main St. is now open for business. The new hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patrons are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing. At this time, there are no public restrooms and no fitting rooms. Also, we are not able to accept donations at the store. Patrons are encouraged to drop off donations in our donation bins located at The Salvation Army Church at 119 E. Church St. or at Walker’s Hardware.
