Cancellations and Postponements

EVENTS

— Penn State’s 2020 Ag Progress Days exposition, which was scheduled for Aug. 11-13, has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic,

— Covenant Cafe has canceled for June 2 and June 16.

— Alzheimer’s Support Group has canceled for June 9; Virtual Support Groups are available. Call Fran Decker at 570-748-4302 for dates and times.

–Cancer Support Group has canceled for June 11.

— Due to the Coronavirus, St John’s UCC of Tylersville is postponing their annual yard sale scheduled for June 5 and 6. At this time, another sale date has not been determined.

— The Centre County Grange Fair has been canceled.

— The Clinton County Fair Farmers and Flea Market (normally held on Tuesdays), has been canceled until further notice.

— The Mill Hall Community Pool will be closed for the 2020 season according to Mill Hall Borough Council.

— The Castanea Township Community Yard sales scheduled for June 13 are canceled.

— The 2020 Orviston Community Celebration scheduled for July 10 and 11 has been canceled for this year due to COVID-19 and will return in 2021 on July 9 and 10.

— The Country Music Jam at Howard Yearick Center is canceled for May and June.

— The Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Fair, scheduled for July 31 and Aug. 1, has been canceled.

— Monument Festival has been canceled for this year.

— The annual Strawberry Festival, sponsored by the Lemont Village Association, scheduled for June 13, has been canceled.

— The annual Rally for Recovery as has been in the past will not be held this year. However, something else is in the planning stages.

— The Milesburg Museum’s annual Car Show and Apple Fest Day has been canceled for Sept. 26.

— The 35th annual Sentimental Journey to Cub Haven Fly-In scheduled in June has been canceled. The next Fly-In will be held June 22-26, 2021.

— Camp Cadet program that was to be held at the Lock Haven University Sieg Conference Center in June and the Golf Outing that was to be held on July 18 at the Clinton County Club have been canceled.

— The Animal Medical Center of Nittany Valley has canceled all elective surgeries, routine examinations, and other simple procedures. The practice will remain open for urgent care Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.to noon. Any patient requiring attention due to illness, pain or trauma may be seen during that time.

— The Wine in the Wilds wine tasting festival rescheduled from April 25 to July 11, at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. Visit their brand new website, www.wineinthewilds.com, for details!

— State Police Spring and Summer Youth Camps canceled. This includes Camp Cadet, the commissioner’s Honor Camp, Sunny Day Camp and Elmer Hafer American Legion State Police National Guard Youth Camp.

— The Porter Township Heritage Days events for June 2020 have been canceled. The 5K Color Run/Walk and Heritage Days Festival are now rescheduled to June 5 and June 12, 2021.

— Meetings for the Pennsylvania Happy Travelers are canceled until further notice.

— Memorial Day Service at the Advent Cemetery in Boggs Township, Centre County along Moose Run Road has been canceled.
