Grieb Family

picnic canceled

The Family Picnic for the Descendants of Aaron and Helen Grieb scheduled for Sunday, July 19 has been canceled. Next year’s picnic will be on Sunday, July 18, 2021. A decision on the October hayride has not yet been made.

Women’s AA meeting

Women in all 12 steps of the Alcoholics Anonomys program are welcome to meetings held Friday nights at 6 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 112 E. Main St., Lock Haven

Senior Ball

Yard sale

A yard sale will be held Friday and Saturday, July 10-11, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Tylersville. Hours are 8-5 Friday and 8-1 Saturday. There will also be soup, hot dogs and baked goods available for sale.

Pine Creek Twp. extends tax

deadline

The Pine Creek Township supervisors have extended the due date for real estate taxes. Residents who pay their tax by Aug. 31, 2020 will be prescribed a two percent discount. All others must pay their tax by Dec. 31, 2020. No late fees or penalties will be included in the payment for this year.
