Free books in the parks
Love to read? Look for Richelle Mead’s “Gameboard of the Gods” and four books on Minecraft, all in the Triangle Park Little Library. In Hanna Park you can find John Grisham’s latest, “Camino Winds”, and for kids, “Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew: Dance Off.” The Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven sponsors Little Libraries where you can take a book, leave a book, or both.
Bowling association to meet
The Lock Haven Bowling Association will hold their annual fall reorganizational meeting on Aug. 19, at 6:30 p.m. The location is at Clinton Lanes, 529 1/2 High St., Lock Haven. All men, women, and youth bowlers are encouraged to attend. In accordance with state COVD-19 guidelines, masks are required, and social distancing will be observed. LOCK HAVEN — Penn State Master Gardeners are available by phone and email to answer home gardening questions. Calls are being taken through the Clinton County Master Gardener Hotline at 570-858-0198. Questions can be submitted via email to email@example.com. A Master Gardener will respond to voicemail and email messages and provide answers and research-based information.
