Picnic food Friday at St. Agnes

Enjoy a supper picnic Friday for the final weekly drive-through from 4 to 7 p.m. behind St. Agnes Church. On the menu this week is fan favorite sausage subs, stromboli, mac and cheese, hot dogs and funnel cakes. Folks can pick up their food in the parking area behind the church. And don’t forget, this is the final chance to enjoy some delicious food thanks to Holy Spirit Parish!

Lock Haven Shoe Bank reopens

The Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank will re-open on Saturday, Aug. 15 and if needed on Saturday, Aug. 22. Eligible kids and teens through age 17 can get a free pair of new shoes — by appointment only. New procedures are in place to protect families, and masks are required. To schedule an appointment, call Diahann G. Claghorn at 814-571-5324 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Fill the Bus Festival

Lock Haven Branch YMCA will be holding a Fill the Bus Festival on Saturday, Aug. 15 at the Lock Haven City Beach and Vesper Street. This is a community event to “Fill Our Bus” with donations for the YMCA’s School Backpack Program and raise money for their LiveSTRONG at the YMCA Program. There will be a 5k/10k/1 mile fun run, cornhole tournament, bingo, games, vendors and more!

Ham and turkey dinner

Country style ham and turkey dinner will be served from noon to 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 7, at Immaculate conception Parish Center, 5973 Jacks Hollow Road, Williamsport. As a result of COVID-19, all dinners will be take out only. Price is $9.50 for adults; $4 for children 4-12, and free for children under 3.
