Democratic ‘Meet the Candidates’ event tomorrow

LOCK HAVEN — Tomorrow, Democratic candidates will be crossing the county to talk to residents at four stops.

Margie Brown, candidate for PA Senate 25th District, and Joe Waltz, candidate for PA 76th House District, have confirmed attendance their attendance at the “Meet the Candidates” event. Lee Griffin, candidate for U.S. Congress in PA’s 12th District, is also expected to attend.

Other Democratic nominees invited include: Nina Ahmad, PA Auditor General; Josh Shapiro, PA Attorney General; and Joe Torsella, PA Treasurer.

The event will feature stops at:

— Friendship Community Center, 127 Main St., Beech Creek from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

— Tank Park, Route 150, Avis, from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.

— Dunnstown Fire Company, 118 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven, from 3 to 4 p.m.

— Reception at Campaign Headquarters, 108 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven, from 4:15 to 5 p.m.

The public is invited to these events to learn more about the candidates, discuss ideas and concerns, and may also pick up campaign materials, such as yard signs and bumper stickers. Light refreshments will be available. Masks will be required.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday through the Nov. 3 election.
