Walking Tours

The Lock Haven Paranormal Seekers will host Haunted Walking Tours on Oct. 19, 24, 26 and 30 at 7 p.m. nightly and also Oct. 23, 24 and 30 at 11 p.m. from the Ross Library. The one-hour tours will feature stories and locations each evening. Bring a flashlight. Cost is $5. Pre-pay and pre-registration required. Take-out pulled pork lunch

The Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, 2305 E. Winter Rd. Loganton, will hold a take-out only pulled pork lunch on Sat., Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The meal will consist of pulled pork, potato salad, baked beans coleslaw, a roll, and cake for dessert. The cost is a donation. Meals can be picked up outside the kitchen door in the parking lot, and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Master Gardener hotline

Penn State Master Gardeners are available by phone and email to answer home gardening questions. Calls are being taken through the Clinton County Master Gardener Hotline at 570-858-0198. Questions can be submitted via email to clintonmg@psu.edu. A Master Gardener will respond to voicemail and email messages and provide answers and research-based information.
