Everybody loves a parade

The Bucktail football team got an early pre-game boost with a Homecoming Parade Wednesday night prior to this Friday night’s home game where the Bucks will celebrate Homecoming 2020. The Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park hosted the parade which served as the first time many fans got to cheer on their team this season, applauding as the junior high and varsity teams players and cheerleaders rode in trucks down Erie Avenue to a bonfire at the 16th Street Park.

There was more candy thrown than the kids lined up along Erie Avenue could gather as Bucktail cheerleaders and athletes showered onlookers as they made their trip down Erie Avenue Wednesday evening. Cruze Winkelman, left, and Madalynn Winkelman are seen picking up candy, even after the parade had passed. Cruze is the son of Mikey Winkelman and Karen Younkin and Madalynn is the daughter of Mike and Joy Winkleman.
