If you walk or drive down East Water Street, you’ll notice some changes and additions to the exterior of Brigandi, Gleghorn and Haffley Erie Insurance offices. Haffley, who took ownership of the business in January, recently added a flagpole and American flag, along with a large stone containing a special tribute to veterans and some colorful fall flowers to the area outside the entrance. “This flag is dedicated to the men and women of our armed forces, past, present and future. We thank you. We appreciate you. We honor you,” are the words on the plaque. Haffley has also repainted the facade of the building and has plans to construct a new front porch. Haffley said he and his staff of seven has over 100 years in the insurance business and is proud to serve the community.
