SV Church of the Brethren to hold turkey supper

Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren will hold its annual turkey supper on Saturday, March 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. This year, because of the pandemic, this will be a take-out only meal. Supper will consist of the usual roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, roll and dessert. The cost is a donation and proceeds will benefit the church cemetery mowing fund.

Senior Luncheon

Sugar Valley Senior Luncheon will be held at the Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at Noon. They will return to dining in the church fellowship hall. Please wear a mask when entering or moving around in the hall. As a reminder, should there be a weather related school delay or cancellation, the lunch will also be cancelled. MilitaryShare rescheduled

Origami kits at Ross Library

The Ross Library is offering basic origami kits for those interested in trying the art of folding paper into cool shapes. Each kit contains simple instructions to make three different animals, plus 10 pieces of origami paper.
