2021 Tourism/Recreation Grant Program Now Open
Interested local nonprofits and municipalities have until March 1 to apply for a 2021 Clinton County Tourism/Recreation Grant. The Grant Program is now accepting applications for projects aimed at increasing the area’s tourism and recreational assets. A collaborative effort between the Partnership’s Tourist Promotion Agency, the Clinton County Commissioners and the County Planning Department, the program supports local nonprofit and municipal initiatives. Soup sale
Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 31 N. Loyalsock Ave., Montoursville, will be holding a vegetable soup and indoor yard sale on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will include baked goods and hot dogs. Homemade soup will be available for $5 a quart. Call 570-368-1863 to order.
Hometown Hero Banner Program
Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. is selling Hometown Hero Banners for the 2021-22 streetlight banner program. The banners can honor a veteran, an emergency responder, or, new this banner round, a front-line health care worker. The banners will be unveiled and introduced during a special ceremony in August and will hang on streetlights in Lock Haven for the next two years.
