Residents enjoy the first warm day of the year

Something that feels almost miraculous happened Wednesday. The sun shone brightly, helping melt the pesky snow that’s plagued Clinton County and offered a reprieve from the frigid temperatures we’ve endured so far in 2021. Residents took to the streets of downtown Lock Haven to enjoy the nice weather and get a bit of shopping in. Johnathan Page rode his bike along the Susquehanna River to the city to take care of some business as well as shop at local stores such as the Salvation Army and enjoy a cup of coffee from Avenue 209. Meanwhile, Gayle Hummel was soaking up the sun’s rays with her dog Hunter as they strolled down Main Street. “We’re just out enjoying the nice weather,” she said.
