Alzheimer’s and Caregiver’s to meet via phone
The Alzheimer’s Support Group of Clinton County is not able to meet in-person at this time, however, a telephone support group, sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. for anyone caring for someone with dementia or any memory loss related disease. Both past group members and newcomers are welcome to take part in this format for the support group.To register for the telephone support group, call the Alzheimer’s Association at 800.272.3900. They will provide the phone number and the code to join the call. The call will last 60 minutes. Fran Decker, MSW, local support group leader will be facilitating the call. Questions regarding the telephone support group or other concerns can be directed to Decker at 570-748-4302.
Tree Sale
Clinton County Conservation District Tree Sale — 45 Cooperation Lane, Mill Hall. The District’s annual sale, featuring bundles of flowering and fruit trees, shrubs, and rain gauges. Order forms are available through the Conservation District, with orders due March 19. Hometown Hero Banner Program
Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. is selling Hometown Hero Banners for the 2021-22 streetlight banner program. The banners can honor a veteran, an emergency responder, or, new this banner round, a front-line health care worker. The banners will be unveiled and introduced during a special ceremony in August and will hang on streetlights in Lock Haven for the next two years.
