The first sighting of Robins of the year was spotted by Betsy Knecht of Weaver Hill Road in Dunnstable Township. Knecht said it was a amazing to see the robins appear! Knecht is looking forward to watching the robins hopes for a beautiful spring ahead.
The Jacksonville Cemetery Association will hold its annual spring cleanup beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 13. Lot owners who wish to save items that are currently on or around the graves should gather those items prior to the cleanup. Other items will be discarded. Food distribution will be held at St. Paul’s Food Pantry, at the red brick church on Route 64, will be held March 10 and March 24 at the church on Route 64. Please bring boxes back so they can be used again.
Now open to pets
The PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced that more campsites at state parks will be open to pets beginning in 2022, including Poe Valley in Centre County and R.B.
