Rita Fisher is BPW Girl of the Month
JERSEY SHORE –The Business and Professional Women’s Club Girl of the Month for February is Rita Elizabeth Fisher, daughter of Karen and Kenneth Fisher of Jersey Shore.
Rita’s activities include Homecoming and Prom committees, one year; class president, two years; soccer, Outdoor Club, three years and FBLA, four years.
Rita has served as the 9th grade FBLA vice-president during her freshman year, and also the class president during her junior year. She is currently continuing to serve as the class president during her senior year, and Rita was also named as the girls’ varsity soccer team captain during her 12th grade year.
Outside of school, Rita attends Youth Group and has volunteered her time with her local church during the Labor Day picnic and pancake breakfasts.
Rita has qualified for the FBLA state competition during her freshman, junior, and senior years of high school. She was on the homecoming court as well during her freshman and junior year. Rita has also lettered as a freshman, junior, and senior on the varsity girls’ soccer team.
Rita enjoys hunting, playing soccer, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, spending time outdoors, reading, and watching sports. She plans to attend Lock Haven University to major as a Secondary English teacher.
