The Final Two
From the Final Four to the Final Two. On Saturday, Indianapolis played host the Final Four and games could not have been any different. Baylor blew out Houston, 78-59. However, Gonzaga won a thriller over No. 11 seed UCLA, 93-90, on a last-second shot. It was one of the most memorable games in recent NCAA Tournament history. Tonight, No. 1 seed Baylor and No. 1 seed Gonzaga will meet for the National Championship. Gonzaga is trying to put a bow on its perfect season. The game tips at 9:20 p.m. on CBS.
Ham pot pie fundraiser
The Sugar Valley Lions Club is having a ham pot pie fundraiser on Saturday, April 17 at the Lions-Sportsman Clubhouse, 55 S. Sportsmans Road, Loganton.
This will be drive through only between 3 to 5 p.m. or until sold out. Pot pie will be sold by the quart for $7 and pepper slaw by the pint for $3.

A free electronics recycling event will be held on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24 at the Bellefonte Armory. The Friday hours will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., while the Saturday hours will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The folks running the event will accept just about everything under the sun, from computer towers to speakers and everything in between. However, there are some things that will NOT be accepted, such as televisions, VCRs and gaming consoles. The event is sponsored by the Bellefonte Chamber of Commerce and Black Hoof Technology.
