Plans are already underway for the Clinton County Fair so mark your calendars. You don’t want to miss a thing. The fair will be held from July 31 through Aug. 7 at the Fairgrounds in Mackeyville. Ham Pot Pie

The Sugar Valley Lions Club is having a Ham Pot Pie fundraiser on Saturday, April 17, at the Sportsmans Club, 55 S. Sportsmans Road, Loganton. This will be drive-thru only between 3 to 5 pm or until sold out. Pot pie will be sold by the quart for $7 and Pepper Slaw by the pint for $3. For information call. 570-725-3665.

Rote Community Yard sales will be Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24.

Food Pantry tomorrow

St. Paul’s Food Pantry at the red brick church on Route 64 will distribute food on Wednesday, April 14, from 9-11 a.m. Please bring boxes from the last food pantry so they can be used again. The next date for the food pantry is Wednesday, April 28 at the same time. The pantry serves residents of Mill Hall and Lamar areas.

Blood Drive

Howard Area Lions will host a Blood Drive at the Howard Fire Hall on April 21 from 1:30 to 7 p.m. Please become a regular donor with the Lions Club in Howard.
