Car Show

Saturday in Wayne Township

A car show and Little League opening ceremonies will be held at the Wayne Township — First Quality Little League Field on Saturday. Come out and enjoy the game and the display of cars and other vehicles. Registration for the car show is from 8-11 a.m. Trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m. with a parade throughout the township to follow.



Due to the unavailability of dumpsters, this Saturday’s clean-up sponsored by PRR, Chapman Township, Renovo and South Renovo has been canceled.

Breakfast Buffet in Loganton

The Sugar Valley Fair Committee will hold a breakfast buffet from 6 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 24 at 24 W. Anthony St., Loganton. Takeout is available. Call (570) 725-3637 for more information.

Chicken and waffles dinner

Hillview Wesleyan Church, 1200 W. Fourth St., Lock Haven, will be holding a chicken and waffles dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 24. The meal includes chicken gravy with waffles, mashed potatoes and green beans or corn, apple sauce and a drink. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages three to eight and children under three eat free. Those interested can eat in or take out their meal. All proceeds will benefit the Pregnancy Resources Clinic in Lock Haven.
