Bellefonte

Senior Ball

Bellefonte Area High School’s Class of 2021 is trying to plan its Senior Ball.

It just needs a little help.

The senior class does not have access to the funds it has raised for the past four years, so they need the community’s help. A parent group has begun planning a Senior Ball to be held in Bellefonte’s Talleyrand Park. The Class of 2021 is looking for donations of any type!

Donations can be anything! From food to water to decorations to pre-packaged snacks or even monetary donations, every little bit helps.

For more information or to make a donation, email bellefonteprom2021@gmail.com, call or text the parent group at (814) 553-7975.

On the Fly

The Centre County Youth Service Bureau will celebrate the 25th anniversary of On The Fly by hosting a Fun Day of Fishing. Wayne Harpster and his family host the event on their private waters on the premiere Spruce Creek. This socially-distanced event will be split into two sessions, morning (7:30 a.m. start) and afternoon (12:45 p.m. start). Each fisherman will enjoy five hours of fishing and two meals during their session. The morning session will receive a light breakfast and lunch and the afternoon session will have lunch and light dinner. There will not be scoring this year’s event so there will be no awards or banquet after fishing concludes. For more information or to sign up, call (814) 237-5731 or email lvolpe@ccysb.com.
