American Songwriters at Millbrook this week
LOCK HAVEN — Acclaimed performers Chris Blisset and Trevor Lindley Craft on a retrospective journey through the careers of some of the greatest songwriters of our time, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and George Jones, will take the stage this week at Millbrook Playhouse.
Both performers are lifelong fans of country music and have toured the world together and separately performing with country-rock bands. They are looking forward to bringing this exciting evening of wonderful music here to share with you!
Chris Blisset is an actor, musician, director, and music director working out of New York City. In the last 20 years, “Red” has done professional performances in 45 states and Canada and television. His efforts as a director and actor include traditional musicals, Shakespeare, farces, and dramas — however, the lion’s share of his career consists of working in actor-musicianship, which brings him great joy. “Blisset leads the way, ambling across the stage with a casual ease. His performance is energetic while also being unforced.” Allen Adams — The Main Edge
