In memory of Jim Hedgeland

The family of longtime Flaming Foliage Festival committee member Jim Hedgeland made a sizable donation to FFF in their father’s memory and the surviving members knew exactly one of the things that Jim would have wanted accomplished. Most the contribution was used to lay a concrete pad down under the pavilion at the lot in town. The pavilion is used throughout the year by the committee as well as other groups and was simply dirt before Jim’s memorial donation was made. Jim had talked of having the pavilion floor cemented — it was actually a wish of the entire FFF organization — notably each year during the annual car show in which Hedgeland was instrumental in starting it as well as organizing it for years. The group was also able to get a new sign with the donation that welcomes all that pass through Renovo as it sits at the intersection of routes 120 and 144.
