MILL HALL — Millbrook Playhouse will be showcasing two performances of “Snow White” starting today on the Poorman Courtyard Stage.

This is a not-so-classic retelling of the tale of Snow White. This comedic mix of theatre and drama highlights two actors who play Snow White, the Huntsman, the Prince, and all seven dwarves in a funny, really, really fun way.

So expect the unexpected in this fabulous fairy tale full of hilarious hijinks and meaningful lessons. It is produced by special arrangements with Plays For Young Audiences. This is “Snow White,” as you’ve never seen it before. Most enjoyed by families with children ages six and older.

The show is written by Greg Banks and directed by Michaela Barczak. Technical requirements are provided by Kayla Shutters, V.C. Deener, and Walter Pigford.

The show will take place outside in the Poorman Courtyard stage. Performances are Saturdays, July 31, and August 7 at 10 a.m.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults $8 for kids. You can purchase tickets by calling 570-748-8083, online at www.millbrookplayhouse.org, or by coming to the box office any day of the week. Box Office hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and one hour before showtimes.

Millbrook Playhouse follows current CDC guidelines. The current policy is that masks are optional for all vaccinated patrons, and we ask that those who are not vaccinated please wear masks while in the building and the theater. This would include all children under 12.
