Friday in the ‘Fonte

Another “Friday in the ‘Fonte” will take place in downtown Bellefonte on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021. It will feature outdoor dining and live music at the Centre County courthouse featuring Anchor & Arrow duo. Those coming into town are encouraged to grab takeout from your favorite downtown restaurant and listen to the free live music. Event begins at 5:30 p.m.

On the Field

The Centre County Youth Service Bureau’s annual clay shooting competition, On the Field, will be held on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021. The day begins with the always popular practice session, followed by a hearty lunch, and then the 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. The tournament will be held at Shenecoy Sportsmen in Huntingdon. The evening concludes with hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction showcase, followed by awards and the banquet. Pewter awards are the favorite among shooters and presented to team champion, lady champion, and individuals. Banquet tickets and other sponsorship opportunities are available.
