Ladies Day Out
Local women are invited to a free Ladies Day Out, scheduled for Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hillview Wesleyan Church, 12000 W. Fourth St., Lock Haven. Get away from the busyness of life as you relax with friends, share laughter and stories, and spend time with God. To register email kpoorman@hotmail.com or call 570-769-6765 by Oct. 31. The day will feature a light lunch and everyone will receive a goodie bag. You’ll also be making your own little treat.
BEN Class Luncheon
Members of the Bald Eagle Nittany Class of 1961 are invited to a luncheon on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 11:30 a.m. The meal will be held at Haywoods on the Green.
Veterans
Program
A Community Veterans Program is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Sugar Valley Fire Hall. Join speaker Jennifer Hagaman, Clinton County Veterans Affairs director, in honoring the veterans who live in Sugar Valley, and share the patriotism of this special time of year. Refreshments such as coffee, tea, cocoa and apple cider will be available. Music will be performed by the community band. Social distancing will be followed. Wear a mask if you wish.
