Leadership Clinton County underway

LOCK HAVEN — The first session for the 2021-2022 Leadership Clinton County program was held this month at the Annie Halenbake Ross Library. In addition to a tour of the library, participants learned how to effectively manage a meeting and understand different board responsibilities; they were introduced to proper techniques of public speaking; and learned the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion while serving on boards and committees. Pictured above is Albert Jones, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Lock Haven University, who spoke to the class.

A special thank you goes out to the following October session sponsors: Annie Halenbake Ross Library; BHE GTS Berkshire Hathaway Energy; Central PA Auto Auction, Inc.; Clinton County Commissioners; Clinton County Community Foundation; Clinton County Economic Partnership; First Quality; Leadership Clinton County Alumni Association; M&R Contracting, Inc.; M&T Bank; PPL Foundation; Sons and Daughters of Italy Loggia Giosue Carducci Lodge 146; Terrapin Care Station; UGI Utilities, Inc.; and Woodlands Bank.
