Stoetzel names JS Lions’ Citizen of the Month

JERSEY SHORE — The Jersey Shore Lions’ Club Citizen of the Month for October is Dustin James Stoetzel, son of Melinda and Christopher Stoetzel of South Williamsport, Pa. Dustin’s activities include the following: four years in Outdoor Club, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and track and field.

Dustin has served as the 9th grade treasurer for FBLA, and is currently serving as the 12th grade reporter for FBLA.

Outside of school, Dustin works with and volunteers his time with his local church during community dinners and picnics.

Dustin placed first in the FBLA Regional Competition for Business Procedures and tenth in the FBLA States Competition for Business Procedures during his sophomore year. He also placed second in the FBLA Regional Competition for Business Law during his junior year. Dustin is a PFEW alumni and is also a member of the National English Honor Society.

Dustin enjoys snowboarding in the winter, and enjoys the rest of the year by working to improve the house with his parents. He plans to attend Penn State Main Campus to receive his MBA, and then plans on attending Dickinson School of Law to become a corporate lawyer.
