Brion named BPW Girl of the Month

SAVANNAH BRION

JERSEY SHORE — The Business and Professional Women’s Club Girl of the Month for May is Savannah Morgan Brion, daughter of Brandie and Westley Brion of Jersey Shore, Pa.

Savannah’s activities include the following: for one year, basketball, soccer, Constitutional Convention, Class Committee, golf, volunteering in the Life Skills Gym Class and Senior Leadership Committee; for two years: Pep Club, tennis, Class of 2022 Treasurer and National Honor Society; for three years: Homecoming Committee, National Spanish Honor Society, Key Club and yearbook; for four years, FBLA and National English Honor Society.

Savannah has served as the class of 2022 Treasurer during both her 10th and 11th grade years, and during her Senior year serves as the Secretary of the Pep Club, Vice-President of the Key Club, and is the Senior Editor for the Yearbook.

Outside of school, Savannah has volunteered with the Love Center distributing and packing food, volunteering with helping the Jersey Shore High School Life Skills gym class, and is a member of the Antes Fort Planning Committee. She is also a caregiver for an adult with special needs and works as a Shift Manager at Phil-It-Up Drive In.

Savannah was nominated for the Homecoming Court during her Senior year of high school, placed 1st in Regionals for FBLA in 2020, placed 2nd in Regionals for FBLA in 2021, took 1st place at the Lycoming County Fair Art Gallery, and is the Senior Editor for the Yearbook. Savannah has also been a consistent member of the Distinguished Honor Roll during her high school career.

Savannah enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. She plans to attend Penn State University for either Special Education or Biology.
