FARRANDSVILLE — The Clinton County Association of Township Officials Executive Board recognized Pauline Simcox for her 47 1/2 years of dedicated service as a supervisor and a secretary/treasurer to Colebrook Township.

“That certainly has been a life time career in local government throughout the years sustaining the township business of Colebrook filling two positions,” a release from the CCATO said. “Pauline has seen many changes to local government from her early days. There are so many requirements in government now for meetings and general operations even for a small rural township.”

Pauline was presented with a certificate of appreciation for her service and dedication from the CCATO and a rose bush for lasting memories of such dedication.

Pauline was asked what words of wisdom could she share with the rest of the attendees in these positions. She said, “It takes good supervisors and to be able to work together.”

“We thank you Pauline for your gift to the community,” the release said.
