America250PA to plant Liberty Tree

in Clinton County tomorrow

America250PA and the Pennsylvania Freemasons are presenting the Liberty Tree Project, in which they will plant 67 Liberty Trees, one for each county in Pennsylvania. This project is part of a multi-year celebration of America’s 250th birthday. Tomorrow, June 22, they will be dedicating Clinton County’s tree, at the site of the former Tiadaghton Elm along Pine Creek, between Avis and Jersey Shore.

The event will begin at 10 a.m., near 1825 River Road, Jersey Shore. The actual site will be about 1/4 mile from that address, near the Silver Bridge that spans Pine Creek.

Liberty Trees were gathering places for the Sons of Liberty throughout all 13 colonies. From their meetings and discussions, the seeds of the American Revolution were planted.

Consider joining them tomorrow as new seeds are planted in their honor.

RSVP is suggested and appreciated, by contacting their Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator at Andre@America250PA.org
