LOCK HAVEN — Celebrate Grandparents Day on Sept. 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Barton Street One-Room School, Barton and Third Streets, Lock Haven.

Bring the grandkids to see what school was like long ago and while you are exploring you will also see an early Post Office, Telephone Exchange, milk bottles from local Dairies and fire fighting helmets from the 19th century.

This is a free program sponsored by the Clinton County Historical Society, whose mission is to collect, preserve and share the history of our community.
