Covenant Cafe to meet Nov. 1
LOCK HAVEN — The Covenant Cafe, an early stage Alzheimer’s activity group, will be changing the date of their meeting from Tuesday, Nov. 5, to Friday, Nov. 1, due to Election Day. The group will meet at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, to carpool to the Clinton County Community Center to participate in the Music Jam with the Twisted Racquet Tears from 1-3 p.m. Participants are invited to come and bring a friend to this event which is open to the public.
The Covenant Cafe is a joint venture between the Nurturing, Outreach and Worship Committee of Covenant United Methodist, the Alzheimer’s Support Group and the Alzheimer’s Association. Participants in this group are given an opportunity to be involved in socially and physically stimulating programs which will help them remain as active as possible.
