Helping Hands distribution
Helping Hands at United Lutheran Church (behind KFC) is held the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Low income families and senior citizens can receive items such as laundry care, cleaning items, soap, garbage bags, ect. Any questions call Kelly Olmstead at 272-209-5912. The next distribution is on Nov. 20 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Blood Drives
Donors of all blood types are needed to “Give the Gift of Life” to those who need blood products. Pick a Red Cross donation site near you and become a blood donor today! And then continue to donate blood every 56 days.
On Nov. 15, donate at Lamar Township Vol. Fire Co. from 12-4:30 p.m.
Call 1-800-RED CROSS or visit RedCrossBlood.org for more info and to book an appointment. Walk-in donors are also welcomed at any of the local blood drives being held in the area.
Ross Library Storytime
Children’s Librarian, Miss Holly, shares a story and a craft each week with youngsters at the Ross Library. On Mondays and Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. the story and craft are for 2-5 year olds. On Wednesdays the storytime at 10:30 a.m. is for children up to age 2, with older siblings welcome.
