Covenant Cafe to meet Tuesday
The Covenant Cafe, an early stage Alzheimer’s activity group, will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 West Main, Lock Haven. Volunteer Sharon Davy will conduct two Christmas crafts including the making a wreath. The group will enjoy a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Volunteer Bill Raco will be on hand to take photos of participants with these special guests. Refreshments will be served.
The Covenant Cafe is a joint venture between the Nurturing, Outreach and Worship Committee of Covenant United Methodist, the Alzheimer’s Support Group and the Alzheimer’s Association. Participants in this group are given an opportunity to be involved in socially and physically stimulating programs which will help them remain as active as possible.
