An Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Lily Cramer of Boy Scouts of America Troop 35 of Bellefonte, recently took place at Faith United Methodist Church in Bellefonte, Pa. Lily earned 38 merit badges during her scouting career. For her Eagle Scout Community Service Project, she researched, designed and installed five bird boxes and two mourning dove baskets at the Centre Furnace Mansion. These items were strategically placed throughout the grounds. She also repainted an existing Purple Martin Box and purchased new hardware for the pole and supports. The following were on hand during the Eagle Scout ceremony to present certificates and/or citations to Lily for her accomplishment of earning the Eagle Scout rank: Centre County Sheriff Brian Sampsel, Nittany Leathernecks representative Daron Aukerman, Pa. State Representative Kerry Benninghoff, VFW Post member Andrew Bowen and Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 member Patrick Corbett.
