Myers named Lions October Student of the Month
JERSEY SHORE — Zachary William Myers, a senior at Jersey Shore Senior High School, has been honored as the Lions Club Student of the Month for October.
The son of Curtis and Michele Myers, of Williamsport, Zachary excelled both academically and athletically during his high school career.
As a dedicated member of the football and baseball teams, Zachary has lettered in both sports all four years and received the prestigious Coaches Award for football in his junior year. His leadership skills were also evident during his time on the prom committee and as the secretary for Skills USA in eleventh grade.
Zachary’s commitment to service extends beyond the classroom and playing field. He volunteers at the Love Center and with the Jersey Shore Area Athletic Association (JSAA) Youth Football League, showing his dedication to his community.
In addition to his volunteer work, Zachary holds a part-time job at Professional Petroleum, balancing his work responsibilities with his academic and extracurricular achievements. Throughout his time at Jersey Shore High School, Zachary has consistently maintained honor roll status and is currently a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) for his senior year.
Outside of his school-related activities, Zachary enjoys spending time outdoors, engaging in hobbies such as hunting and fishing and cherishing moments with family and friends.
Following his graduation, he plans to attend college to major in business, where he hopes to continue building on the strong foundation of leadership and achievement he has cultivated during his time at Jersey Shore High School.
