Penn State invites aspiring small business owners to experience global entrepreneurship week Nov. 18-24

Clinton, Lycoming, Mifflin and Centre counties to host 40 events

UNIVERSITY PARK — Entrepreneurs, small businesses, and community members across Clinton, Lycoming, Mifflin and Centre Counties are invited to attend a week of learning, networking, and celebration during Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), today, Nov. 18 to Nov. 24, hosted by the Penn State Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

The annual GEW event brings together Penn State’s students, faculty, staff, and local entrepreneurial communities during the week-long showcase of innovation, collaboration and education across an array of 40 free in-person and virtual presentations, workshops, and networking events tailored for startups and small business owners.

“We are thrilled to present a lineup of events, which will bring together organizations and individuals passionate about business ownership,” said Brandy Viehdorfer, marketing and events coordinator, SBDC. “Our goal is to create an environment where people can connect, learn, and grow, while gaining access to valuable resources and experts to help make their dreams come true.”

Throughout the week, participants can enjoy 40 learning and networking events across Centre, Clinton, Mifflin, and Lycoming counties, including the following among others:
