The St. Paul’s Food Pantry will have their only distribution in December on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 9-11 a.m., at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall. The distribution will include items to prepare Christmas dinner. Don’t forget to return your boxes! The food pantry serves the Mill Hall/Lamar area to the Centre County line. Any questions please call 570-726-7460. A reminder, this distribution is the only one for this month.

Old-Fashioned Christmas

‘Tis the season. Join theOld-Fashioned Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. The celebration will be held in the one-room refurbished Bull Run School built in 1899 and is adorned with its original furnishings. It is located at 1756 Bull Run Road (2 miles southwest of Loganton). The musical group, Fishers of Men, will be performing. Holiday music will surround the room with Christmas carol sing-a-longs. Homemade cookies and snacks, hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and holiday punch will be offered. Folks can tell traditional stories and share memories from decades past. Winter’s whimsical figure, the Snowman, is this year’s theme. This festive celebration is hosted by the Sugar Valley Historical Society and is free and open to the public of all ages.
