Holy Moments Series

Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church will be starting their Holy Moments in History series on Feb. 5. Retired history teacher Mike Palischak will lead the program. Mike has chosen William Penn as his first topic of historical individuals who influenced our country through their faith. Come learn all about William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania, on Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Additional seminars featuring a different historical figure will be held on the first Wednesday of each month. Bald Eagle UP Church is located at 111 Main St., Mill Hall, with plenty of free parking to the rear of the church.

Keystone Central School District is pleased to host La Fiesta Band on the Central Mountain High School auditorium stage Sunday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m., for a concert filled with the exciting sounds of Latin music to usher in the season of Carnaval. From salsa to merengue, cumbia to reggaeton, and more, this show will have something for everyone. The performance is open to the public and free of charge!
