TODAY

— Holy Moments in History series at Bald Eagle U.P. Church, Main St., Mill Hall. Retired history teacher Mike Palischak will lead the discussion this month on William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania. The one hour program is free and begins at 10 a.m.

— Prayer Shawl Ministry meeting, noon, at Bald Eagle U.P. Church, Main St., Mill Hall. Come see the many items that the needleworkers have crocheted or knitted over the past month. Donations of yarn and cotton material will be appreciated.

— Blood Drive at Howard fire hall, 12:30-6 p.m.

— HELP for Pets will be holding their Annual Membership Meeting at 7 p.m. at the Annie Halenbake Ross Library, 232 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Anyone interested in helping with the cause is invited to attend.

FRIDAY

— Old School Market, at former Rote Elementary, Mill Hall, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Special auction of misc. items at 4 p.m. and hay and small animal sale at 6 p.m.

— Light of the World Free Clothing Bank, 2:30-5 p.m., at St. John’s UCC, Linn St., Bellefonte.

Clothing in all sizes, accessories, bedding, afghans, shoes and more. Everything is free!

— Bingo at Mill Hall Fire Hall every Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

— Centre Hall Fire Company first Friday of the month Bingo. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Early bird games at 6:30 p.m., followed by regular Bingo at 7 p.m.

SATURDAY

— Titan Market’s Sweets and Sips Dessert Fest, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Many indoor vendors selling at 2042 Axemann Road, old Cerro plant, Bellefonte.

— Light of the World Free Clothing Bank, 9 a.m. to noon, at St. John’s UCC, Linn St., Bellefonte. Clothing in all sizes, accessories, bedding, afghans, shoes and more. Everything is free!

— Sugar Valley Fire Company’s Sweetheart Dinner, 3-6:30 p.m. at the fire hall banquet room. Amish Wedding Meal Buffet featuring lots of delicious foods. $20 for adult meals and $12 for ages 6-12. Younger ones eat free. Sit down dining or take-outs will be available.
