Covenant Cafe to meet Feb. 4

LOCK HAVEN — The Covenant Cafe, an early stage Alzheimer’s activity group, will be meeting Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 1-3 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven.

Covenant Cafe volunteer Pam Blesh will introduce her certified therapy dog, Foxy Lady, and will do a PowerPoint presentation on how they came together to be a team.

Volunteers Roberta Muthler and Sharon Davy will conduct a Valentine card making session. The session will end with a game of indoor corn hole and refreshments.

The Covenant Cafe is a joint venture between the Nurturing, Outreach and Worship Committee of Covenant United Methodist, the Alzheimer’s Support Group and the Alzheimer’s Association. Participants in this group are given an opportunity to be involved in socially and physically stimulating programs which will help them remain as active as possible.
