Penn State offers Dining with Diabetes class at the Ross Library

The Dining with Diabetes course teaches adults with Type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes about healthy food and how to keep diabetes in check. Classes meet weekly for four weeks, followed by one class three months later.

Family members may attend, too.

Learn how to:

— Manage Type 2 diabetes.

— Avoid Type 2 diabetes.

— Make healthy meals.

— Stay active.

The classes will be held at the Ross Library, 232 W. Main St., Lock Haven, in the 3rd floor conference room. Classes will be held on the following Fridays: March 7, March 14, March 31 and April 4. (Note there will not be a class on March 28). The followup class date will be June 13. Class times will be from 10-11:30 a.m. The cost is $10 for the series.
