LOCK HAVEN — Attention high school students: Sentimental Journey, the annual fly-in that celebrates Piper Aircraft Corporation’s heritage in Lock Haven, is pleased to announce they are once again awarding the Leah Jones Aviation Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to one lucky student.

The scholarship is open to any high school student who is going into the field of aviation upon graduation, as well as any student who is currently taking flight lessons or is planning on learning to fly an aircraft.

To qualify, you must be a Pennsylvania resident or a child or grandchild of a Sentimental Journey member and reside in the United States.

Sentimental Journey’s mission is to get youth interested in the field of aviation, for without our pilots and aviation mechanics, our future would be bleak. The world relies very heavily on aviation.
