Takac to hold forums

State Representative Paul Takac will hold five listening sessions to hear directly from the community on the impact of closing SCI Rockview and the Quehanna Boot Camp. Takac will host forums to gain input from area residents on precisely how they will be impacted so he may better tell their stories to the Shapiro administration. Takac wants to hear directly from those who would be affected by a shutdown of one or both of these facilities. All forums will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the following dates:

Monday, March 31 — Benner Township Municipal Building, 1224 Buffalo Run Road, Bellefonte.

Wednesday, April 2 — Schlow Public Library, 211 S. Allen St., State College.

Monday, April 7 — Snow Shoe Township Building, 268 Old Side Road, Clarence.

Senior Socials

Sugar Valley Rural Charter School will have their last monthly Senior Social on April 11 from 12:30-2 p.m. in the gym lobby, 236 E. Main St., Loganton. There will be activities, food and special guests. Bring your senior friends and family and fill the room! No reservation required.
