— Cash Bingo at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bellefonte, 7 p.m. Doors and kitchen open at 6 p.m. Bingo benefits the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus Charities.

— The Clinton County Herb Guild meeting at 6 p.m. Our meetings are open to the public, so please feel free to join us! This month Jim Randall and Charles Kincaid will give a presentation on Bloodwort. The meeting will be held at Big Woods Bible Church, 241 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven. Please use the rear entrance.

TOMORROW

— The Nittany Valley Writers Network will meet at 6:30 p.m., in the Schlow Library Community Room, 211 S. Allen St., State College. Elaine Meder-Wilgus will speak on how Webster’s can support local writers. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Dave at dmarvin14@msn.com.

— KBR Bingo holds Cash Bingo every Tuesday night, 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Call Deb at 570-660-2647.

— The Alzheimer’s Support Group of Clinton County will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church at 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Kelsey Barnes, Care Manager and Assessor with STEP Office of Aging will be the guest speaker to share information about the many services provided by the Office of Aging that could be helpful to families caring for loved ones with memory loss.

— Clinton County Genealogical Society Meeting will host guest speaker, Lake Grabosky, of the North Central Regional Science Coordinator of the American Chestnut Foundation (TACF), to present to members of CCGS and the public a presentation titled, “Learn about the History of the American Chestnut; its roots in Castanea; and how you can help restore the American Chestnut. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the Poorman Gallery, 352 E. Water St., Lock Haven. The meeting is free and open to the public.

WEDNESDAY

— BEN Class of 1961 luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the Valley Hotel in Mill Hall. All classmates and guests are invited.

— Howard Grange # 297 Open House, 6:30 p.m., at Howard fire hall (back meeting room). Public is invited to come to learn how Howard Grange is making a difference locally. Tickets for April 6 Bingo can be obtained at this open house. Call Anita at 814-571-4160.

— Howard Area Lions Bingo, 6:30 p.m., at Beech Creek Fire social hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

— Spring Concert at Price Auditorium at 7 p.m. The spring concert is free and open to the public. Williamsport Area High School’s marching band, winners of the 2024 Cavalcade of Bands American Class Championship, will be joining the concert, as well as Jeff Dent performing on clarinet.

— Milesburg Lions Club Bingo at the community center, 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.

FRIDAY

— BEN Class of 1964 luncheon at noon at Ruby Tuesday’s. All classmates and guests are invited. Class reunion plans will be discussed. Please call 570-962-2988 for reservations.

— Bingo at Mill Hall Fire Hall every Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

— Titan Market, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Many indoor vendors selling at 2042 Axemann Road, (old Cerro plant), Bellefonte.

— Sugar Valley Lions Club’s Cash Bingo, 7 p.m., at their clubhouse, 55 S. Sportsmans Road, Loganton. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 at the door.

— Friday Night Lenton Fish Fries at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, will be held each Friday during Lent, from March 14 through April 11, from 4-7 p.m. Eat in or Take Out; CASH ONLY. The cost is only $14 for adults; $7 for children under 12 and under 6 eat for free. Come experience Centre County’s largest Fish Fry, prepared and served by the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus and Catholic Daughters of the America’s.

SATURDAY

— Easter Egg sale at Milesburg Museum, 8 a.m. to noon. Peanut butter or coconut eggs being sold for $10 dozen to benefit the museum. Eggs sold each Saturday at the museum and Milesburg post office until sold out. Donations for museum’s yard sale in May also being accepted. Good, clean and working items can be brought to the museum on Saturdays or left on the porch. 814-404-8365 for info.

— The Ross Library is thrilled to welcome young author Marybeth Davis for a special event at 1 p.m., in the Gould Room. This exciting visit is a must-attend for fans of young adult literature and aspiring writers of all ages. Marybeth Davis, a 21-year-old literary sensation from Jersey Shore, has already significantly impacted the world of writing. Marybeth honed her craft and developed a unique voice that resonates with readers of all ages.

— Yarnell Community Center’s Chicken and Waffles supper served from 4-6 p.m. Meal cost is a donation, suggested $10 or more. Benefits the YCC’s maintenance fund to pay taxes, buy heating oil and pay electric bills. Call Donna at 814-880-9450 for more info.
